My Review of the Influenster Jolly VoxBox.

As I told y'all a couple of weeks ago, I received my first VoxBox from Influenster.
The first product I noticed when I opened the VoxBox was the
Skinny Cow Divine Filled Chocolates.
At first I was very weary about trying this product. While I love chocolate (and peanut butter, which is the flavor I received), I wasn't sure that it would be good because it is "healthy chocolate." Only 130 calories in one serving. However, I surprised to find out that one serving is three pieces of chocolate and it was delicious. The chocolate tasted like chocolate and the peanut butter tasted like peanut butter. Surprising, I know. Both the chocolate and the peanut butter were creamy also. The one downside I found was that it was not sweet enough for my taste. However, when I asked other people to try them, they disagreed. I would definitely buy any of the Skinny Cow products and try them after trying the Divine Filled Chocolates.

The Second product I noticed was the
NYC HD Color Trio Eye Shadow.
My first impression of this eye shadow was that the colors were exactly what I would normally buy. The first time I tried this product, I did it based on the way NYC had it labeled, which was the darkest color (which is in the middle) goes on the lid of the eye, the middle shade (which is on the bottom) goes in the crease of the eye, and the lightest shade (the one on the top) goes on the brow bone. The first thing I noticed was that the colors were not as vibrant or "bright" as I thought they should be. In fact, when I went out with my family later that day, my mom asked why I wasn't wearing any make up. Every time I wore this eyeshadow after the first time I switched the darkest and the middle shade on my eye so that the darkest was in the crease and the middle shade was on the lid. I definitely liked wearing it this way much better but I still noticed that the colors just don't "pop" enough for me.
If you prefer your make up to be more natural or look like you aren't wearing any, this is the perfect product for you. Otherwise, it is just ok.

The third product I noticed in my box was the
Duck Tape Mini Duckling.
I love that this duck tape is so bright and colorful and small. I have not yet put this duck tape to use but I have seen so many incredible crafts that people have made with the duck tape. I like the idea of the mini ducklings (just a small roll) because there are so many more intricate things you can do with the tape than if it was a big roll. Also, I love that it is duck tape brand because as we all know, it is the most trusted brand of duck tape available. It is always sticky and always durable.

The next product was the
Puffs Plus Lotion Purse Pack.
I should preface by saying that there are two things I am incredibly picky about and that is toilet paper and tissues. Puffs is one of my favorite brands of tissues because it is soft and not scratchy. When your nose is running and it is cold outside, it is not pleasurable to have a cheap tissue rubbing your nose raw. The Puffs plus Lotion are even softer than the regular Puffs. I love them and I love that they come in a purse pack because they can fit in a purse or a book bag with ease. I took several of these purse packs with me last year when I was sick and flying to New York City for vacation. They were perfect!

The last product was the
Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer.
Once again, I was not disappointed by the colors of this lip product. I was confused what lip lacquer was but soon after trying it, I realized that it is a mix between a lip stick and a lip gloss. I would say, however, that it is more like a lip gloss but it is not shiny. I have used this lip lacquer several times since I got it and the two things I do not like about it are that it is not glossy and it is not moisturizing. If your lips are chapped when you apply this product, they will stay chapped and the color will just sit on top of the chapp-ness.  I did try using chapstick under it and it helped a lot. I did love the color of the product though.

So far, my experience with Influenster has been great. I received all of these products free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review of the products.
